The VAMP Team

The Virtual Australian Museum of Palaeontology is a project of the Flinders University Palaeontology lab with Flinders Microscopy & Microanalysis.

Our partners include the Museum and Art Gallery of Northern Territory (MAGNT), South Australian Museum (SAM) and West Australian Museum (WAM).

Original start-up funding was awarded by the Flinders University Consortium Research Funding Scheme 2019.

There are many, many people to thank for helping to bring VAMP to life. This project was led by Dr Alice Clement, Dr Aaron Camens, and Mr Jacob van Zoelen (Flinders University Palaeontology) with generous support and guidance from our mentors, staff, volunteers, museum partners, Flinders University and more. This is by no means an exhaustive list but it wouldn’t be right not to thank Bree Martin, Gavin Prideaux, Vera Weisbecker, Egon Perilli, John Long, Sarah Harmer-Bassell, Diego Garcia-Bellido, Tory Botha, Elen Shute, Aubrey Kiernan, Warren Handley, Isaac Kerr, Diana Fusco, Ellen Mather, Sophie Rapagna, Mary-Anne Binnie, and many other staff from the South Australian Museum, Western Australian Museum, and the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. It really has taken a village to raise this baby!
