Over 190 species of mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian and fish are represented.<\/p>\n<p>The collection was established in the mid-1990s, and began as a small assemblage of skulls and skeletons to aid Flinders Palaeontology researchers to identify and describe fossils.<\/p>\n<p>In the decades since, the vertebrate collection has grown considerably in scale, and is constantly expanding. We are are in the process of entering the entire collection in a database. You can browse the current list of registered specimens <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1ik7rV40wKxG5CKWHu3-qvD5lVDDYvs-TPc_hfc7l0ng\/edit?usp=sharing\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The collection is accessible by appointment.
